In a bizarre collaboration that defies conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Uncovered

According to the formal statement, "A strange confrontation leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of prohibited practices and fearsome metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The storyline features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine cult.

The adventure concentrates on "bizarre trials and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses

The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Bonus Material

Players who accomplish the quest will receive an unique katana alongside numerous artifacts concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
