Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former twice world title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
