A two-month voyage circling Australia was terminated days after the tragic passing of an older female passenger who was abandoned by the ship on a distant tropical isle.

The passenger had been trekking on the remote island with fellow passengers from the Coral Adventurer, but separated from the group for a rest. The vessel left without her and came back several hours later after the crew became aware the passenger was missing.
